Erucamide offers better thermal stability than Oleamide due to its higher melting point and heat resistance. iSuoChem® extracts this product from non-animal fats. It is gradually replacing Oleamide in many high-temperature processing applications. It's approved for food contact materials (GB9685-2008) and has passed SGS green testing, meeting EU RoHS requirements.

What is Erucamide

Excellent Surface Lubrication

Erucamide significantly reduces dynamic and static coefficients of friction on film surfaces. It improves processing efficiency and packaging operations. This slip agent works well in CPP, BOPP, LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PVC, and multi-layer co-extruded films.

High Thermal Stability

Erucamide offers better heat resistance than Oleamide. It has a higher melting point (79-83°C) and flash point (230°C). It can withstand higher processing temperatures, making it suitable for engineering plastics and high-speed production lines.

Erucamide for Ink and Rubber

Anti-Block & Anti-Fouling Performance

This erucamide provides excellent anti-block properties for film applications. It prevents adhesion between layers. In inks, it delays pigment and filler settling, helps re-dispersion, and improves abrasion resistance and surface smoothness.
